The programme will be ready for publication on 12 May, but we can already reveal that themes covered will include Robotics technology of the future, Smart products, Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), OPC-UA and Industry 4.0. Similarly, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the three nominees for the DIRA Automation Prize 2016 and listen to what they have to say about their solutions, challenges, costs and benefits with regard to automation projects at their companies.
The conferences are being organised in partnership with BITVA, DIRA, VELTEK, RoboCluster, Maskinsikkerhed ApS and Innovation Lab.
We will annonuce the conference programme once it is finally confirmed.
The Automatik trade fair in Brøndby is the place where the leading companies in the sector get together to showcase their latest products and solutions.
This makes it the ideal venue to experience the newest trends and technologies in the fields of industrial automation, process automation, hydraulics and pneumatics, robotics technology and power transmission technology – and, on the basis of your particular needs, pick up inspiration for new solutions and for optimisation of your production processes.
The 2014 DIRA Automation Prize was awarded to Trelleborg Sealing Solutions for its comprehensive production optimisation programme, (slet komma) and for commissioning 35 robots over the course of two and a half years.
“The 2016 DIRA Automation Prize will be awarded on the decision of a jury which will be visiting the three nominated companies during the spring and, on this basis selecting as the winner, the company that has chosen to use robots in the most innovative manner.
The name of the winner will be announced at the opening of Automatik 2016, on Tuesday, 13 September, at 08.15.
The prize is awarded to a person or team that has made a significant contribution to improving the competitiveness of one or more Danish companies – while simultaneously retaining jobs – through automation based on robotics technology applied in a ground-breaking manner, or that has otherwise contributed innovatively to the development of robotics technology.
